State of Idaho Chinden Campus

The State of Idaho's Chinden Campus underwent a comprehensive 170,000-square-foot renovation, a complex project designed to modernize and revitalize a key government facility. This extensive undertaking was executed in a multi-faceted approach, addressing critical infrastructure upgrades to ensure long-term operational efficiency, alongside significant core and shell improvements to the building's exterior and shared systems. The project's scope seamlessly integrated these foundational enhancements with the final phase of tailored tenant space build-outs, creating a cohesive and fully updated working environment for state employees.

A primary focus of this campus-wide initiative was the meticulous transformation of Building 2. This building was specifically retrofitted to serve as the new, purpose-built headquarters for the State's Industrial and Tax Commissions. The renovation provided these critical agencies with modern, efficient, and functional office space, engineered to support their specific operational needs and public service missions. By centralizing these commissions in a upgraded facility, the project ultimately enhances the state's administrative capabilities, fostering improved workflow, inter-agency collaboration, and service delivery to the citizens of Idaho.
